Why is India not yet developed...?

As everyone knows, before the entry of Islamic rulers and European countries into India and before colonisation and atrocities by them, India had a very rich culture, intellect and education. Even India was the wealthiest country in the world.

It's been 77 years since India got independence from Portugese, French and English, but it's still in struggling stages and it's still called a developing nation. The main reasons for these are the mind-set and comfort zone of we the great Indians. Most of us have become narrow minded.

If we realise and overcome this soon, we can become the superpower in the world in the terms of knowledge teaching and sharing, economy etc just like we used to be long long ago.
